Solo entrepreneur, not alone at all. Charles-Louis Stinglhamber

Tell us about your career?
During 7 years at AB Inbev, I had my ups and downs. In 2019, I'm leaving the company while being offered the title of partner.

I am part of the Regenerative Alliance network founded by Benoit Greindl and the concepts defended resonate with me more than ever: the B corp certification, business as a force for good. I feel the need to actively participate in the transition from a selfish and extractive economy to a collaborative economy, respectful of people and the planet.


And so, concretely, what is happening?
I met Marc-Antoine, who took over a brewery after it went bankrupt and made the transition to organic. We share the same values: local products, fair prices, B Corp certification. His story inspires me, we help each other.

I call on an organic baker (on the whole chain) who has a lot of unsold products and we test the production of a beer with recycled bread. In December 2020, it is the birth of my beer the Miche. I then registered at Silversquare.

At Silversquare we brew people too?
Oh yes, at Silversquare I created a whole network. I met The Skateroom (certified B corp of course!), and with their help, I changed my identity: La Miche became No Waste Republic. I brainstormed on my concept with BeeFounders: sustainable impact investment fund. I did my branding strategy with The Good Ideas Company and protected my copyrights with Wiplaw. I've had my product tasted at Silversquare events and created partnerships with Bambino restaurants. At all levels I have collaborated with the entrepreneurs I met at Silversquare and have developed long-lasting relationships.

Mutual aid is a word that comes up a lot, how do you do it?
The Silversquare team connects people and stimulates collaboration between members. There is a strength in the Silversquare culture: we bring our expertise to each other. It's very strong. It goes far beyond renting an office in a coworking space.

I launched my beer "No Waste Republic" alone. Coworking allows me to share my ideas, gives me energy. And on top of that, I've made friends!
